Qiming Temple
Qiming temple in Xiamen is located at the foot of Longrui mountain, zengcuolong community, Siming District, Xiamen city.
It is said that Qiming temple was called Earth temple in Ming Dynasty, called "East Palace". Later, it was changed to Lotus Daochang, called "Qiming hall". Soon, it was renamed temple. After many vicissitudes, the temple now covers an area of 16000 square meters. The temple under construction is the temple of heavenly kings, where Maitreya Buddha and four heavenly kings will be built in the future. Qiming temple has built the main hall and Mituo hall. Next to the main hall is the earliest Guanyin hall. Sakyamuni Buddha and Sanbao Buddha (Sakyamuni Buddha, pharmacist Buddha and Amitabha Buddha) have been consecrated in the Mahavira hall, while the Amitabha hall behind the Mahavira hall has a tall bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, up to 21 meters high, which is the largest indoor bronze statue in China
