The College of science, technology and art of Jingdezhen Ceramic university is a full-time ordinary undergraduate private independent college sponsored by Jingdezhen Ceramic University, approved by Jiangxi Provincial Development Planning Commission and Jiangxi Provincial Department of education, and registered by the Ministry of education.

The college was established in August 2001 and began to recruit students in 2002.

According to the school's official website in April 2019, the school has 103000 square meters of teaching and administrative space, six teaching departments, 27 full-time undergraduate majors, 381 full-time and part-time teachers and more than 5600 students.

Historical evolution

In August 2001, the College of science, technology and art of Jingdezhen Ceramic University was applied by Jingdezhen Ceramic University. With the approval of Jiangxi Provincial Development Planning Committee, Jiangxi Provincial Department of education and the record of the Ministry of education, it began to recruit students in 2002.

On April 12, 2016, the people's Government of Jiangxi Province announced that with the approval of the Ministry of education, Jingdezhen Ceramic college was renamed as Jingdezhen Ceramic University; Jingdezhen Ceramic college, an independent college sponsored by Jingdezhen Ceramic University, was also renamed as Jingdezhen Ceramic College of science, technology and art.
