Da'an Village

Da'an village was proposed by Hu Rukai, the magistrate of Fushun County, when Li and LAN Yijun invaded Zigong in the 10th year of Xianfeng. Yu Zhao, the king of the big salt merchant, gathered Chen Nan and Huang huaixian to build it. Daanzhai site is an indispensable historical material evidence for the study of Ziliujing's modern historical development.

Da'an Village

Da'an village was proposed by Hu Rukai, the magistrate of Fushun County, when Li and LAN Yijun invaded Zigong in the 10th year of Xianfeng. Yu Zhao, the king of the big salt merchant, gathered Chen Nan and Huang huaixian to build it.

After the completion of the village, the earth wall was more than two feet high, with a stone foot wall under it, one foot thick, and covered with tile houses, with a circumference of nearly three li. Later, in order to solve the problem of water use, Jiuan village was built. The two villages are closely connected and are horns of each other. In fact, they are a seed mother village. During and after the construction, Li and LAN Yijun attacked Da'an village several times.

One of the most intense was in June and July 1861. More than 100000 volunteers from Zhou Shaoyong attacked Da'an village in succession. Under the unfavorable terrain, the volunteers bravely and tenaciously attacked the village, risking stones, picking up ladders, and even wooden barrels and square tables on their heads. The landlord armed forces organized by Wang langyun also fought to the death, guarding the gate of the village. For a moment, the arrows were flying like locusts, and the guns and stones were flying. The fighting was unprecedented fierce and cruel. The rebels once killed Wang Yutuo, Wang langyun's nephew. Later, because of the arrival of Qing reinforcements, the rebels were afraid of being attacked and quickly evacuated.
