Zigong martyrs cemetery

Zigong martyrs cemetery is located in Zhakou mountain, surrounded by pines and cypresses and with beautiful environment. It displays 100 people who have made outstanding contributions to the founding of new China. In the park, there are garlands, monuments, famous martyrs' bust, martyrs' tombs, revolutionary martyrs' deeds exhibition hall, Siyuan corridor, Jiye Pavilion, Yongsheng group sculptures and other memorial buildings. Since its establishment, the park has played an important role in promoting the selfless dedication and dedication of revolutionary martyrs, in educating the masses, especially young students, to inherit and carry forward the revolutionary tradition, and in stimulating their enthusiasm and creativity in promoting the construction and development of Zigong and building a harmonious society. It is a red tourism base for patriotism education in southern Sichuan.
