Suzhou London Bridge

The landmark building "London Tower Bridge" has been built in Xiangcheng of Suzhou. Its style and characteristics are comparable to those of "London Tower Bridge", the symbol of London in England. Architectural features

Xiangcheng's "London Tower Bridge" is located on Huayuan Road, the East-West main road in Xiangcheng District, across yuanhetang. Its shape is basically similar to the original bridge in London, England. But because the bridge deck is wider than the original bridge, the designer carefully changed it from two towers to four towers. The four towers, each 40 meters high, are equipped with several small spires, which look like four crowns from the renderings. The bridge is divided into three transverse sections, in which the span of slow lane is 37.8m + 47m + 37.8m, and that of fast lane is 41m + 50m + 41m, with a total width of 45.9m. The base of the tower is 10 meters long and 10 meters wide. There is a suspended pedestrian passage between the two towers. There are glass windows on both sides. Pedestrians can enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of yuanhetang by walking across the bridge. A hole is opened in the lower part of the tower, and the non motor vehicle lane can pass through the hole. The tower is divided into five floors, with stairs up and down, and two of them are equipped with elevators. There are passageways between the two horizontal towers, which can be visited by the public.

"Suzhou London Tower Bridge" has a tower height of 40 meters and a tower base of 10 meters long and wide. It is divided into a fast lane, a slow lane and a sidewalk in the horizontal direction. The lower part of the tower is perforated for non motorized vehicles. There is a suspended pedestrian passage between the two towers in the vertical direction, with glass windows on both sides. It is very safe for pedestrians to walk across the bridge.

Due to the fidelity of the tower bridge and London Bridge, it is very popular among the public. Many studios and new people regard it as a good place for photography.
