Luchun County Museum

Luchun County Museum, also known as the Hani Museum, is the only Hani Museum in the world. It is located in the Dongyang Ethnic Park of the new green east district.

There are 12 pavilions in the museum, including the general hall, the migration hall, the religious hall, the custom hall, the farming hall, the clothing hall, the goddess hall, the art and culture hall, the library, the tea culture hall, the multimedia hall, and the art works exhibition hall. The museum collects 2995 pieces (sets) of world Hani people's production, life, religion, textile, clothing, books and other precious material heritage.

Founded in May 2006, the museum was officially opened for development during the international Hani / aka Symposium in November 2008. On January 30, 2011, the Museum of Luchun County was established with the approval of Yunnan Provincial Bureau of cultural relics, and was officially listed on February 3. Since its opening, it has received more than 110000 domestic and foreign tourists.

The museum has a total area of 6500 square meters (including the style garden square in front of the museum and the totem pole of six ancient ethnic groups in Luchun), with a total investment of more than 12 million yuan. The building area of the museum is 3456 square meters, and the exhibition hall area is 2200 square meters. There are 12 exhibition halls in the museum, including general hall, migration hall, religion hall, custom hall, farming hall, clothing hall, goddess hall, art and culture hall, library and reference Hall (not open), tea culture hall, multimedia hall and art exhibition hall. There are 2998 pieces (sets) of precious material heritages (including related books) of Hani people in the world, including production, life, religion, textile, clothing, etc.

The museum absorbs the contemporary advanced theories, adopts the method of combining regional characteristics with the overall culture of Hani / aka in the world, and combining the original traditional culture with modern advanced means. Standing in the overall perspective of Hani culture in the world, the museum uses advanced means such as image, video and multimedia, and combines various objects to collect, preserve and display the world's Hani culture in an all-round and multi angle way The production, living customs and primitive religious concepts of the Ni nationality. At the same time, it takes video broadcast, character performance and other activities to give play to its function of protection and inheritance, so as to become the most abundant and extensive database for rescuing, protecting, researching and developing Hani Traditional Culture and the center for studying Hani cultural heritage in the world.
