Gamaxia Temple
The foreign name of gamaxia temple is karma Sha Tsen Khang
Located in Chengguan District, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region, gamaxia temple, known in Tibetan as "karma Sha Tsen Khang", is a Gelug monastery of Tibetan Buddhism.
From the east side door of Pala mansion, the only temple in tiebenggang community is gamaxia temple. Gamasha temple is a part of sera temple. It is said that when the fire broke out in the Jokhang Temple, the practice of chanting Buddhist scriptures in Naiqiong Temple failed. Finally, the fire was put out by the ritual activities held by gamaxia temple. As a result, there is talk that gamaxia temple is a "Tibet fire brigade". The streets to the north of gamaxia temple are the location of wengdui xingka market. Now it's time to lay a stone slab. Chengguan kindergarten is located here. Ongduixingka used to be a well-known market in Lhasa and a major trading place for mules, horses and donkeys.
