Guantouling National Forest Park

Guantouling National Forest Park is located in the southwest of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. It is composed of Wanglou ridge, Fengmen ridge and Tianma ridge. It is named for its undulating mountains, like a green dragon across the sea, and its dome is like a crown. Guantouling was a coastal defense fortress in history. In the Ming Dynasty, to prevent the invasion of pirates, a fort was set up on the side of wanglouling, the main peak. Up to now, the remains of the fort can be discerned. The West foot of guantouling is eroded by the sea, forming a huge steep wall. Under the wall, the waves are thundering. It is a big landscape in Beihai City, named Longyan tidal sound. Guantouling is the only scenic spot in Beihai city with both forests and sea reefs, attracting many local couples to take wedding photos here. At the same time, it is also a good place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of sunrise and sunset, vast expanses of sea waves and fishing fire at night.

Traffic information: 1. Take bus No.6 at Beibu Gulf square to the terminal (the last bus is 18:00), 2 yuan per person;

2. If you take a taxi from the city, the starting price is 5 yuan. After two kilometers, it's 1.4 yuan / km. If you don't take a taxi, you can negotiate with the driver about 20 yuan from the square;

3. Self driving: drive west to the end of Beihai Avenue and drive along the road sign to canning ridge. Turn around and return to the original road when you return to the top of the mountain.
