Covering an area of 100000 square meters, the park is a comprehensive large-scale park. The original site is a power plant soot blowing place, which causes serious pollution and harms the surrounding people. In 1995, with the joint efforts of people from all walks of life in the urban area and after three years of hard construction, it was officially opened to the outside world in August 1997. There are 9500 square meters of large subsidence fountain square, elderly activity area, children's recreation area, cultural activity area, swimming pool, promenade and so on. After the completion of the project, it will become the main place for large-scale celebration activities in the urban area. The 8th and 12th Rose Festival, Chrysanthemum Exhibition, Spring Festival Lantern temple fair in 1999 and 2000, and annual urban family culture and Art Festival, community culture and Art Festival, summer culture square and other activities have been held here, and good results have been achieved. In 2001, in order to increase the landscape in the garden, a "Peony Garden" was built in the garden. In spring, all kinds of peonies are blooming, and there is an endless stream of people watching flowers, forming a unique landscape in the garden. In order to increase the plant characteristics of the park, planting cherry blossoms in a large area has basically become the main landscape, echoing with the "Peony Garden", forming the overall ornamental landscape in the park.
