The glass plank road of Tianmen Mountain is 60 meters long and 1.6 meters wide, hanging on the west line of the top of Tianmen Mountain. The highest altitude is 1430 meters. To visit the glass plank road, you need to buy a ticket for Tianmen Mountain, which costs 258 yuan; if you need to take the forest sightseeing cable car on the top of the mountain, you need to pay another 25 yuan per person for one way.

The glass plank road is on the west line of Tianmen Mountain. The price for a trip is 5 yuan (the cost of shoe cover), and you need to pay a deposit of 5 yuan (if the shoe cover is broken, it will not be returned). You can return the deposit at the other end of the plank road.

The temperature difference between day and night in Zhangjiajie is large, but the temperature difference between four seasons is relatively small. The temperature difference between Zhangjiajie core scenic spot and urban area is about 5-10 ℃, the hottest time is 39 ℃ in urban area and 30 ℃ in scenic area. You need to take sunscreen in summer and cover a thin quilt to sleep at night, so you'd better carry long sleeve clothes when you stay at the top of the mountain at night. In autumn and winter in Zhangjiajie, it is suggested to wear spring and autumn clothing such as jacket or suit, and thinner sweater.
