Juyi Island

The island in the middle of the lake, also known as Wuying mountain, is located in the center of Dongping Lake. Historically, it was the royal road of nine provinces on the water. It was guarded by heavy troops and was a military fortress in all dynasties. It is said that seven water margin leaders, Chao Gai, Wu Yong, Gong Sun Sheng, Liu Tang, and Ruan, the heroes of Liangshan Mountain, came to this island to gather and revolt in order to avoid the arrest of the government after they got their birthdays. Chao Gai was buried on this island after his death. There was a temple on the island called "Guanyin hall". Because Chao Gai liked plum blossom during his life, later generations changed the name of Guanyin hall to "cangmei Temple" in memory of Chao Gai.

Juyi island is located in the middle of Liangshanpo. It is the most brilliant pearl on the island. The original name of Juyi island is Tushan Island, which was later changed to Juyi island. The East Route of South to north water diversion project passes through Liangshanpo, forming a "one in and two out" water conservancy landscape, which is very attractive.
