Hutoushan ancient buildings

Located in the south of Shimen Town, Yunlong County, it is named after the rise of a huge rock on the top of the mountain, such as Hutou. It is an ancient architectural complex dominated by Taoism. According to the Hushan stele, "there was a mountain temple in Hutou temple. During the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, Laojun temple and God of wealth temple were built one after another. In the seventh year of Xianfeng (1857) of the Qing Dynasty, it was destroyed by war. In the thirty second year of Guangxu (1906), it was restored and built Zhangxian temple and Wangmu temple. Hutou mountain has towering rocks and lush pines and cypresses. The temples and Taoist temples are built along the mountain, with Hutou temple. There are winding stone corridors and stone bridges between the temples. On a huge stone wall, there are (Qing Dynasty) Yang Mingyang's poem steles of "tiger" and "eight sceneries of Shimen". Hutou mountain temple is an important scenic spot with reasonable architectural layout and integration of natural and cultural landscape. There are many tourists during festivals. It was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Yunlong County in 1987.
