Gongchen tower was built in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty. It used to be a city building with triple eaves and was changed to a second floor in the fourth year of Yongli. The floor is 28 meters wide, 17 meters deep and 16 meters high. It is built on the 8.5-meter-high city corridor. You can overlook the whole city when you climb the tower. The plaque of "Xiong Kui Liu Zhao" is hung on the south side of the pavilion, which was written by Tongzhi Kangqin of Menghua Prefecture in the Qing and Qian dynasties. The plaque of "Wan Li Zhan Tian" is hung on the north side. The calligraphy of the two plaques is magnificent and powerful.
