Dabei mountain

Dabei mountain is a famous mountain in eastern Guangdong (Jiexi County, Guangdong Province), with an average altitude of more than 700 meters, and the highest peak altitude of 1100 meters. It is surrounded by thin clouds, green mountains, numerous waters, dense virgin forests, and has more than 70 rare tree species. Among them, Fokienia hodginsii is designated as a national first-class protected plant, and Dabei mountain is also the only place in Guangdong Province where big head tea is planted.

Dabei mountain

Dabei mountain, formerly known as "big bird mountain". It is located in the north of Shandou mountain, so it is called "Dabei mountain". It is 2.8km to the west of Shishi municipal government and at the junction of Shishi sub district office and Luoshan township of Jinjiang county. The area is about 1 square kilometer, and the main peak is 84.7 meters above sea level. The mountain is composed of sand, mudstone and laterite, and the vegetation is dominated by small miscellaneous trees. Because it is an important military area, it is marked "Dabei mountain" on the military map. The forest coverage rate is about 50%. Jinnan electric irrigation station is built in the north of the mountain, through which Shishi Quanzhou highway passes.
