Gufeng cave

Gufeng cave is located in Gufeng village, Gaoping Township, Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is about 30 kilometers away from Liuyang City and several hundred meters to the left of gugang Gaoping highway.

Gufeng cave is a typical karst cave, tens of miles deep, with a total area of more than 30000 square meters, extending vertically and horizontally from two townships and one town. It was called "the Ordovician region of heaven and earth" by the ancients.

The first cave

There is an island in the lake. Although it is small, it is very powerful. There are holes in the ancient style cave, the upper and lower holes overlap, the left hole and the right hole are connected. One cave and one scene, with different wonders and abundant aura, is known as the immortal cave, blessed earth and heaven. Human history

At the entrance of Gufeng cave, there is a blue stone tablet named "the secret story of breaking immortal cave" published in 1799. The inscription was written by Zhideng, an eminent monk of Gufeng temple. The inscription says, "the cave is tens of miles deep, with a total of 30 sceneries. There are front cave and back cave, main gate and side gate, tour gate, return gate, Tiancheng East bed and West Pavilion, Nanxiang north courtyard, Shipan bell board, three floors and five temples. There are four sceneries with double towers, among which the odd shapes and signs are unforgettable.". There is another poem: "there are many beautiful flowers on the Bank of the brook, and a cave is beside the ancient fortress. Fengxianxian lives in Minyuan and follows fisherman to Taoyuan. Before the cold, spring is early, and summer is hot. There are endless views on the natural beauty of the scenery. Read the remains carefully from the inscriptions. " On the right side of the ancient wind cave is the tomb of master Zhideng.
