National AAA tourist attraction, located in the northwest of Hongze Lake, is the only island of Hongze Lake, with a land area of 1.96 square kilometers. Mudun island is a natural "peach garden" with unique geographical location, rich resources and beautiful environment. There are lotus seeds, chicken head rice, water chestnut seedling, chicken head stem, silver carp, crucian carp, black fish, lobster, hairy crab and other well-known specialties on the island. There are thousands of acres of lotus land and thousands of acres of crab pond on the lake, which is a good place for summer leisure.

The folk customs on the island are simple. It is the birthplace and inheritance base of the national intangible cultural heritage "fishing inspiration". The Dawang temple, which is named for fishing inspiration, is also a special tourist attraction.
