Although the Sui, Tang and Song dynasties were different and suffered from wars, they were still popular. During the reign of renyin in the Yuan Dynasty (1362), the construction of the temple was restored, and the temple was destroyed by war. At the beginning of Ming and Yong dynasties, the temple was rebuilt and restored to its old system.

According to historical records, Cao family, Emperor Wu of the Three Kingdoms, stationed troops here and built a city and pool to control Sun Quan, so it was named Jincheng. Later, there were those who were good at consulting Fu Tu. Seeing that Jin Cheng was high in a few miles around, and facing the North Hill of water, White Lake and Chaohu Lake controlled the north and south, it was deep and quiet, with towering trees, thousands of bamboo poles, blue clouds and snow, dense and gloomy, so it was not confused with folk houses, so the temple was established here. In 1426, abbot jingguantai lived here, and together with his monks, he planned to rebuild the temple, expand the scale, build zhaigong, Xiangfang dormitory, kitchen, bathroom, and build horse sheds, horse farms, granaries on both sides of the main hall, making Jincheng temple the largest temple in a hundred Li radius at that time. At that time, Xing Kuan, the number one scholar of Wuwei Prefecture, admired the spirit of Abbot Jingguan, happily wrote two inscriptions on both sides of the gate of Jincheng Temple (the inscriptions are like two gates, which still exist in Shuangjing and Songhe villages. Although it has been nearly 600 years, the handwriting is still recognizable).

Weitian fishing ground, Huangdian fishing ground and Cangtou breeding base are close to the roadside. It takes only half an hour by boat from Laoshan island and Zhongmiao scenic spot of Chaohu Lake. They are good places for tourism, leisure, vacation and fishing.
