Since ancient times, due to the rugged mountain roads in southern Hunan, the Bianjiang river has become an important waterway. According to historical records, Zhang Jiuling, Han Yu and Liu Yuxi of the Tang Dynasty, Qin Guan and Yue Fei of the Song Dynasty all traveled through the Bianjiang river. In particular, Han Yu was banished to the South twice, and he went to Bianjiang. After the reform and opening up, Bianjiang not only continued to play its role as an important waterway, but also developed into a scenic spot. The surging river is like a group of blue spirits, meandering forward. Sometimes they are full of thunder and waves; sometimes they are lively and singing; sometimes the beach is dangerous and the waves are swift and moving like a rabbit; sometimes the pool is a hundred feet deep, quiet and changeable.
