Bishan rock, Bishan temple and Kaizhang Shengwang temple are located on the hillside of Zhongyong mountain, Neihu district, Taipei city. They are the largest Shengwang gongzu temple in Taiwan. Chen Yuanguang, the sage king of Kaizhang, was worshipped in the temple. He developed Fujian and Zhangzhou in the late Tang Dynasty, pacified and educated the barbarians, and transplanted the Central Plains culture to Zhangzhou, so he was regarded as the patron saint. Since the Qing Dynasty, bishanyan has been the center of belief of Neihu residents. When you come here to worship, you can climb the Zhongyong mountain behind it.

According to records, in the last years of the reign of Emperor Kangxi, a person surnamed Huang from Zhangzhou brought the ashes of the holy king of Kaizhang to Taiwan. After hanging the sacred stone on the top of the mountain, he left. Some believers built temples to place spiritual tablets. After constant renovation, the temple has now reached its grand scale. It has always been the most popular temple in Wuzhishan district.

In addition to its magnificent architecture, bishanyan also has exquisite sculptures in its temple. According to the residents who are familiar with the history of the temple, all the wood and stone carvings of the temple are completed in the temple. The sculptor must make every work on the mountain to avoid damage to the statue in the process of transportation. There are stone statues around the temple, such as San Jieyi of Taoyuan, CI Zi of mother-in-law's loyalty to the country, and CI Mu yuan.

Bishan rock stands high and overlooks the whole Taipei basin. The sunset is moving and the night scene is also very famous. It is very romantic when the lights are on and the moon is in pairs.
