Daxing'anling Forest Farm

It is one of the main distribution areas of national key state-owned forest and natural forest. It is also the only bright coniferous forest in cold temperate zone in China and the only cold temperate biological gene bank in China. The forest coverage rate is 79.83%. By the end of 2008, there were 6.651 million hectares of forest land and 514 million cubic meters of standing trees. The main tree species are Larix gmelinii, Betula platyphylla, Pinus sylvestris, etc.
