MengWu ecological park

MengWu ecological park belongs to MengWu village economic cooperative, Junzhuang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing. MengWu village has a total area of about 1200 mu, surrounded by mountains and open in the middle, forming a typical small basin climate, which is suitable for the growth of Jingbai pear trees. It is an important part of Jingbai pear base in our town.

brief introduction

Jingbai pear has been cultivated here for hundreds of years. It is famous for its sweet juice, fine meat and pleasant aroma. According to Wanping Zatan, it was granted as a tribute to the court during the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. At the same time, the ecological park also planted: Jonah golden apple, red apricot, white apricot, jujube, hawthorn and so on.

At the beginning of September every year, Jingbai pear will enter the picking season. Under the leadership of the town government, the Jingbai pear picking festival will be held in the ecological park. The opening of the picking Festival indicates that today's Jingbai pear has entered the picking stage, and the picking Festival generally lasts until September 30. There will be various wonderful performances at the opening ceremony of the picking Festival. During the picking Festival, visitors can not only enjoy the natural and beautiful landscape, but also participate in the folk activities of living in farmhouses and eating farmhouse meals.

MengWu ecological park is designed and built in accordance with the traditional garden art style, which makes the resort fully integrate into the nature. There are lots of small courtyards, winding roads, winding lakes, green trees and red houses everywhere. It is the enjoyment of modern life in the quiet nature. On average, the park receives more than 100000 tourists every year to visit and pick.
