Grand Canyon balagzong scenic spot

Balagzong of Shangri La Grand Canyon is located in Shangri La Grand Canyon of Yunnan Province, 58 km away from Shangri La airport, 55 km away from Shangri La airport and 700 km away from Kunming, the provincial capital. It is located at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet, with a total area of 176 square kilometers. Balagzong snow mountain is the highest peak in Shangri La County, with an altitude of 5545 meters; the lowest point is in Nanbu shuizhuang, with an altitude of 2000 meters and a relative elevation difference of 3545 meters. The vertical three-dimensional nature of topography and climate is very prominent, which contains almost all the natural vertical ecological types and landscape resources from the dry hot valley to the modern glacial zone of the "Three Parallel Rivers" World Natural Heritage site in Northwest Yunnan. The scenery is picturesque and the climate is pleasant. The balagezong Grand Canyon in Shangri La has a magnificent scenery. The Gangqu river was squeezed at the bottom of the valley with an altitude of only over 1000 meters by the new orogeny, while the two sides of the Strait are confronted by magnificent peaks with a height of 45 kilometers. Balagezong snow mountain at the end of the canyon with an altitude of 5545 meters is one of the three sacred mountains in Kangba area.
