In memory of Deng Yingchao's great achievements, the CPC Nanning Municipal Committee and the Municipal People's government decided to establish Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall. On February 4, 2007, on the 103rd anniversary of Deng Yingchao's birth, Deng Yingchao memorial hall was opened to the public.

In 2017, Nanning Municipal Party committee and government launched the "three streets and two Alleys" historical and cultural block reconstruction project. In December 2018, Deng Yingchao memorial was relocated here. The newly-built Deng Yingchao memorial hall is a courtyard building with three entrances and two patios, covering an area of 1273 square meters and an exhibition area of 1000 square meters.

At present, the memorial hall is the base of Guangxi anti-corruption education, Nanning anti-corruption demonstration education and Nanning patriotism education.

Reasons for establishment

Deng Yingchao was born on February 4, 1904 in Nanning Zhentai official residence on the North Bank of Yongjiang river. He is a great proletarian revolutionist, statesman, famous social activist, firm Marxist, outstanding leader of the party and the state, and pioneer of Chinese women's movement. The wife of Zhou Enlai, China's first premier.

Introduction to the library

Li Ruihuan, former chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, inscribed the name of Deng Yingchao Memorial Hall. The exhibition hall in the museum is composed of six units: Yongcheng memory, revolutionary journey, women pioneers, deep love between husband and wife, the nature of public servants, and love for Guangxi. It comprehensively shows the magnificent life of "Nanning's daughter" Deng Yingchao through various exhibition methods, such as objects, pictures, scene restoration, multimedia and so on.

Deng Yingchao memorial hall was announced as the patriotic education base of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region by the Party committee and government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in December 2010.
