Juxiantai

Juxiantai is located on the east side of Sanqing palace in Sanqing mountain, a world natural heritage site in Jiangxi Province, China. There is a platform that can accommodate dozens of people called "juxiantai". There is a small door on the east side of the back hall of the Sanqing palace, which can be boarded along the stone steps. It is said that every year from the first day of August to the 15th day of August, a grand Taoist temple is held in Sanqing mountain. All kinds of immortals go to Sanqing mountain to hold a meeting of immortals. This is the place where immortals gather, so it is called juxiantai.

The original meaning of "Ju" converges. Shuowen: "Huiye". In ancient mythology and religion, "immortal" refers to a person who can practice Taoism and live forever, or a person who can reach the highest level. Immortals, taken apart, are human mountains, which means that when people cultivate "mountains", they become immortals. "Shan" is the "Shan" in "Shan, Yi, Ming, Xiang, bu" in metaphysics. Generally speaking, "mountain" is a way to strengthen the body and cultivate the mind. Immortals are people who live for a long time and reach a certain level of thought. It is also believed that in the mountains, people who can live in harmony with nature are immortals. Taoism says "old but not dead" and "immortal". Immortality is just the "one who gets the way" among people. It is a goal that people can achieve through their efforts. "Juxiantai" is where the immortals live. Chen Yunhe said in his poem, "gather in Xiantai, where the common people have a good view of the beautiful scenery of Sanqing. Corrupt officials gather here to eat and drink. No hooligans gather here to gamble. No immortals are embarrassed to come back. If you want to continue the gathering, you must update the content. What you gather here for a long time should be spring. What you really gather here should be people's hearts.".
