Foguangyan scenic spot (formerly known as wuzhufeng scenic spot) is located in YuanHou Town, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, 44 km away from the urban area and 8 km southeast from YuanHou Red Army ferry. World Natural Heritage site.

The scenic spot is located in the section of Dalou mountain and the northern foot of Guizhou Plateau rapidly sinking into Sichuan Basin. The valley is deep and steep, the river is vertical and horizontal, the cutting depth is between 500 meters and 1300 meters, the peak is more than 1200 meters, the valley is broken and the height is wide. The exposed strata are all red sedimentary rocks of Jurassic and Cretaceous fluvial lacustrine facies. Under the comprehensive action of physical and biochemical factors, such as differential weathering, gravity collapse, wind and rain invasion and dissolution, this special landform forms innumerable strange Danxia landform landscapes, such as pagoda shape, Castle shape, needle shape, column shape, rod shape, square mountain shape, peak forest shape, etc. danyan cliff, strange peak and stone, cliff cliff cave are everywhere and numerous, and the earth cliff presents a brilliant red color. Main attractions

Foguangyan, known as "the crown of Danxia in the world", is an arc with a length of more than 100 meters and a height of more than 300 meters. Foguangyan was formed as early as the Jurassic and Cretaceous, like a red, wordless book written with life and blood on the eve of the extinction of dinosaurs, spread out in a sea of clouds. In the middle of foguangyan, there is a columnar waterfall more than 200m high and 40m wide, which looks like a little white dragon flying down from the red clouds. In the afternoon sunshine, the red glow of Foguang rock is like fire, and the blood red rock wall and the snow-white waterfall are fused with each other. At this time, the white clouds are diffuse, the round light and five colors appear in it, and the illusory body and colors are endless, such as the light of Buddha, which endows Chibi with vivid vitality.

Foguangyan scenic spot is known as "the crown of Danxia in the world" and "the first garden of Danxia in the world". It takes dabaiyan, a "Danxia cliff, a wonder of the world", and wuzhufeng, a "heaven made and earth made and uncanny Craftsmanship" as the main landscape. Recommended location

One is under the waterfall, the second is the rock cavity, and the third is the viewing platform at the top of Foguang rock. The best shooting time is 4-6 p.m., when the sun just shines on Foguang rock.

Tour time: there is a road between foguangyan and wuzhufeng, but it takes more than 4 hours to walk along the ring road. For example, it takes about 2.5-3 hours to get to foguangyan and wuzhufeng respectively.

Traffic information: there is no special line bus from Chishui to foguangyan. You need to take the long-distance bus from Chishui to taipingdu at Chishui tourist bus station and buy a ticket to Daqun. After getting on the bus, tell the driver to stop at the gate of the scenic spot. The ticket price is 15 yuan. When you return to Chishui, you can take a bus to return to the gate of the scenic spot after watching on both sides.
