Chongqing Dazu stone carving Museum

Dazu stone carving museum is located in the Baoding mountain scenic area of Dazu, which was officially opened to the public on October 1, 2015.

The Museum theme art exhibition "art nirvana - Dazu stone carving Exhibition" is divided into seven units: charm, inheritance, harmony, flow, protection, rebirth and treasure. Walking into the first floor of Dazu stone carving Museum, you can see a solemn statue of Sakyamuni. This is the masterpiece of Dazu stone carving, and also the treasure of Dazu stone carving Museum.

It is worth mentioning that the head of Sakyamuni Buddha, a national first-class cultural relic, was also displayed in the exhibition hall. The head was stolen in 1995 and recovered in 2006.

After visiting the museum, you can also go to the ring screen cinema to watch the 360 degree ring screen movie "Millennium Buddha feet". The 18 minute film is the world's first grotto art 360 degree ring screen film. This paper mainly introduces the world cultural heritage "Dazu stone" stone art and its rich cultural heritage. It's worth seeing.
