School history

2005

On May 9, 2005, the Ministry of Education issued a document (JFH [2005] No. 67) officially approving the cooperation between Sichuan University and Sichuan Jincheng Industrial Development Co., Ltd. to set up Jincheng College of Sichuan University. In the same year, on September 15 and 16, the first freshmen of Jincheng College of Sichuan University registered.

2006

On October 17, 2006, Jincheng College of Sichuan University launched the college students' Entrepreneurship Program. The college students' Entrepreneurship Center was officially opened. The college invested one million yuan and 26 student companies settled in.

2009

On March 6, 2009, 532 units have formally established cooperative relations with Jincheng College of Sichuan University in terms of school location, School Association and school enterprise.

2010

In August 2010, Sichuan Provincial Department of Education approved the project of "Experimental Zone of Applied Innovative Talents Training Mode of Jincheng College of Sichuan University".

2011

In September 2011, the opening ceremony of 2011 software engineering master jointly trained by Jincheng College of Sichuan University and Sichuan University was held.

2014

In June 2014, the marketing research institute was jointly established with Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu.

In November 2014, Sichuan business hotel business college was established with Sichuan Business Hotel Association.

2015

On April 16, 2015, with the research and approval of Sichuan Provincial Institute of education and examination, the major of auditing (ACCA) recruited by Jincheng College of Sichuan University in Sichuan and sharing educational resources with Sichuan University was adjusted to the first batch of ordinary undergraduate students from 2015.

In May 2015, the 10th anniversary of Jincheng College of Sichuan University was successfully held.

2017

On November 30, 2017, Jincheng College of Sichuan University cooperated with Sichuan Branch of China Telecom to build a quantum communication teaching line.

Department major

At present, the school has 11 secondary schools, including school of Finance and accounting, School of computer and software, School of electronic information, School of mechanical engineering, School of architecture, School of civil and environmental engineering, School of literature and media, School of foreign languages, School of business administration, School of Finance and School of art.
