Balagzong Shangri La Grand Canyon National Park

Located in the northwest of Shangri La County, Shangri La Grand Canyon balagzong national scenic spot is one of the core scenic spots in Hongshan area, a world natural heritage site with "Three Parallel Rivers". It is connected with GEZAN Birang gorge in the East, nishang bridgehead in the south, Derong County in Sichuan Province in the West and Dongwang Township in the north.

In balag Zong, standing in the water village at an altitude of 2000 meters, you can experience the unique terrain and climate of balag Zong and the vertical three-dimensional landscape, which brings you visual impact! The scenic spot is located at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet, within the scope of Hongshan scenic spot of "Three Parallel Rivers" scenic spot, which is the core scenic spot of Hongshan scenic spot. Shangri la Grand Canyon used to be called "Bi soil Canyon", and the scenic area is now composed of two sections of scenic areas, namely, niebalagezong Canyon and GEZAN birong canyon. Rock paintings are also distributed on the cliffs on both sides of the canyon. They are mysterious symbols left by the ancestors here, and no one can interpret them up to now.

Traffic information: take the special bus from dukezong ancient city to the tourist reception center (Shangri La Grand Canyon tourist reception center), the ticket price is 50 yuan / person (8:30 in summer, 9:00 in winter, 3:00 in the afternoon), via Napahai and Nishi township. In addition, the shuttle bus from Shangri La to Xiangcheng and Dongwang will pass through the Grand Canyon around 12:00 every day

Ticket information: the adult ticket is 210 yuan / person (including 150 yuan and 60 yuan for sightseeing bus). Children under 1.2 meters are free of charge. Tourists with student card and senior citizen card can enjoy half ticket discount

Opening hours: 8:00-19:00 (no mountain closure in November)
