Sanchangxi

Located in the east of Taiwan, it is a county and city in charge of rivers. The main stream is 25 kilometers long and the drainage area is 123.32 square kilometers. It can be divided into two tributaries, sanzhannanxi and sanzhanbeixi. The drainage area is located in the southeast of Taroko National Park in the north of Hualien County. The administrative area is new urban and rural areas, accounting for about one tenth of Taroko National Park. The main stream originates from the patop mountain, flows eastward through the Sanchan community, the South Sanchan community, passes through the north loop line and the tai9 line, and then flows southeast into the Pacific Ocean.

Because the riverbed here is mostly cobblestone, the river tracker does not have to worry that he will step into the mud and be unable to move. With the clean water, he can clearly see every step he takes. It is said that the upper reaches of the three stack stream are more beautiful, but only the master of tracing the stream can see it with his own eyes. From Hualien City to the north along the Taijiu line, via Jingmei, turn left in front of Huaien to reach Santan village.
