Former site of Qing school
District Protected Historic Site. Located in Education Street, Xicheng District. It was originally the residence of Prince Jingjin. In 1905, the Qing government set up an academic department here. The former mansion faces south, with five gates, five yin'an halls, five East-West wings, three gates, five temples and seven memorial halls. There is a garden in the east courtyard. After the revolution of 1911, the Ministry of education was changed into the Ministry of education. After the national government moved to the south, it was the Kuomintang municipal Party headquarters. Later, some buildings were built. There are 120 cultural relic buildings in the old site, with a construction area of 3642 square meters, which are used by the armed police hostel and Beijing Foreign Affairs vocational high school.
