Huiqing ancient road

Huiqing ancient road, built in the Sui Dynasty, is a strategic thoroughfare leading to the Yangtze River and Central Plains in Anhui Province. From Fucheng of Huizhou in southern Anhui to Qingyang County. From the north gate of Shexian County, go northwest, pass wannianqiao, pass Fuyi town to Xucun; from Xucun village to the north, pass wumangmiao, Maoshe, chatan to ruolingguan; from Ruoling to Taiping County, go to the foot of the mountain, pass Tanjiaqiao, ganyangli, Xixi, malandi, and sankou to Xianyuan; from Gantang to the northwest, pass Yangxi River to Guangyang, and go north to Qingyang County. For thousands of years, military, civilian, commercial officials and camels have been passing through this road. Because of the official road, this road is mostly slate road with smooth stone surface and 3-6 feet wide. Only Maoshe village in Nanxu town and shanglingjiao village in beitanjiaqiao town at both ends of ruolingguan are well preserved. The altitude of ruolingguan is about 950 meters, and the northeast line of ruolingguan can reach Jinkeng village in Shangzhuang of Jixi and jingqichang village in Baidi of Jingde.

Chatan village, about 850 meters high, is located in the middle of the mountain. Its people are simple and hospitable. There is the site of Wang Hua Zhonglie temple, Duke of Yue, at Ruoling pass. There are many cultural relics in Xucun Town, including eight archways, covered bridges, pavilions, ancient dwellings, ancient ancestral halls and other scenic spots.

Itinerary

The first half of the journey from Xucun to the cottage is a concrete road, and the second half is a simple road, which can be used for hitchhiking or chartered. Qingshiban road starts from thatched cottage to the foot of Shangling. Some sections are only half a meter of dirt road. There are forks near Guandong and Baligang in the middle. In Guandong, you should go through Guandong and continue to move forward. To the right is the direction of Jixi. The ancient road intersects with a simple road in Baligang. There is a house across the road. The weeds grow high here. If you look carefully, you can find the bluestone road within 50 meters. Before closing the hole, it is uphill, and then it is downhill all the way. The walking time is: cottage chatan 1 hour, chatan Guandong 20 minutes, Guandong Baligang 1.5 hours, Baligang shanglingjiao 45 minutes. There is no bus from shanglingjiao to the tea forest farm. Half an hour's walk on the cement road is enough. Along the way, there are always villages, such as cottages, tea pools, mobile phones at the foot of Shangling, but no signals at the middle section.

Shexian railway station, take No.1 bus, 1 yuan to the bus station, T-shaped road at the gate of the station to the end, the bus to Xu village, 5 yuan, 40 minutes. There is no bus between Xu village and chatan village. There is a double seat truck. The driver is from chatan village. Every day, the bus leaves from chatan at 6 and 7 a.m. and returns from Xu village at about 3 p.m. From Xu village to thatched cottage for 5 yuan and to chatan for 8 yuan, Xu village bus stops at the gate of post office. There is a bus to Taiping at 8:00 every morning in the tea forest farm. It takes more than 10 minutes to pass Tanjiaqiao and 50 minutes to Taiping. There is no station in Tanjiaqiao. Stand on the side of the road and wait for the blue shuttle bus from Taiping to Tunxi. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to Tunxi for 2 hours. Taiping Hangzhou has a 9:10, 3-hour bus every day. If you take the bus from the tea forest farm to Taiping in the morning, if you are in a hurry, maybe you can catch the bus. There are many buses from Tunxi to Hangzhou, which are 3 hours away. There are many shuttle buses from Tunxi to Shanghai, which are 6 hours away.
