Banqiao ancient town

Banqiao Town in history was an important post station on the second ancient ferry "plum blossom ancient ferry" from LanJin ancient ferry to Baoshan on the Southern Silk Road. Merchants and scholars gathered here for a time. Because of its special geographical location, it has become a transportation fortress in western Yunnan. It has always been a must for military strategists. Historically, it has been known as "plum blossom ancient ferry", "Beijin Yanliu" and "Banqiao Confucius road". Walking in the ancient town, strolling along Qinglong Street and Beijin street, you can see ancient buildings such as nail palm shop, ancestral temple of ten thousand families, Majia courtyard, old teahouse, old horse shop, ancient stage, ancient folk house, etc. along the way, the traditional craft of cake baked by oak charcoal stove in the town is still called "unique" from western Yunnan to Yunnan. After visiting the ancient town, by the way, you can go to the surrounding places such as yunya Reclining Buddha, longwangtan water garden, Xizhuang temple and so on.
