Yang Wanli's tomb is located in Huangqiao Township, Jishui County, Ji'an. Yang Wanli, known as the "overlord of the poetry world", has long lost his ancient residence, which is said to have been destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". In Yang Wanli's tomb, there is a stone tablet about 2 meters high among the weeds in the wild mountains, with Weng Zhong more than 1 meter high on the left and right. Looking around, it makes people feel sad.

Yang Wanli (1127-1206) was born in Huangqiao Town, Jishui County. He was a Jinshi in the 24th year of Shaoxing (1154). Together with you Mao, Fan Chengda and Lu You, he was the third generation representative of Jiangxi poetry school. He was known as "the four schools of Southern Song Dynasty" and had his own "Chengzhai style". Yang Wanli's fresh and active poems, such as "the lotus is red in the sun" and "the little lotus just shows its sharp corners", have been passed down through the ages.

present situation

Yang Wanli's tomb faces south, 2.13 meters high, 5.9 meters wide, 7 meters long and 0.65 meters high. It is understood that most of the original stone horses and stone figurines in front of the tomb have been destroyed, and now there is only one pair of incomplete stone figurines. Yang Wanli's tomb was rebuilt in 1984 with funds from the people's Government of Jishui County. It was re announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangxi Province in 1987.
