Haidian Park is located in the northwest corner of Wanquanhe overpass on the Fourth Ring Road in northwest Beijing, covering an area of about 34 hectares. It is the site of changchunyuan, one of the three mountains and five gardens in Beijing in history. It is also the world's first AI Park jointly built by Baidu and Haidian District. Haidian Park not only has scenic spots such as Flower Valley and immortal Chenglu, but also has AI scenic spots such as Baidu apolon unmanned car, intelligent trail and small intelligent voice booth.

Park history

In the 29th year of Kangxi (1690), the construction of Haidian Park was completed, and it was officially named "changchunyuan", which means "all seasons are spring", "eight winds come to Dynasty" and "six Qi are accessible". After the completion of Changchun Garden, Emperor Kangxi liked the garden very much and went to Changchun Garden to live and deal with the government affairs every year.

In 1860, the Allied forces of Britain and France invaded Beijing. After burning the Old Summer Palace, they plundered and destroyed the surrounding royal gardens on a large scale. Changchun Garden was the first to bear the brunt, and its buildings were burned.

Haidian Park was built in 2003. It was built in changchunyuan site, one of the former royal gardens of "three mountains and five gardens".

On November 1, 2018, as one of the achievements of Baidu and Haidian District in jointly building Haidian "city brain", Haidian Park announced the formal completion of artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, becoming the world's first AI technology theme park.

Haidian Park is located in the northwest corner of Wanquanhe overpass in the northwest Fourth Ring Road of Beijing, starting from Wanquanhe road in the East, Wanliu middle road in the west, northwest Fourth Ring Road in the south, Xinjian Gongmen road in the north, Zhongguancun Science Park in the East, Tsinghua University and Peking University.

As of 2012, Haidian Park has more than 600000 landscape plants of 75 kinds of seedlings, including Cedrus deodara, Pinus tabulaeformis, Ailanthus altissima, Albizzia julibrissin, Ginkgo biloba and peach.

Dian Yuan Hua gu

The small lake in the west garden is full of lotus, and the valley and lakeside are full of exotic flowers. Emperor Kangxi wrote a poem "seeing the flowers in the West New Garden of Changchun Garden": "the spring flowers are all in season, and the flowers are blooming. Fine grass is green along the steps, and exotic flowers are fragrant. Inch heart cherish temples short, foot shadow by time long. If you are interested in poetry and calligraphy, you should study it carefully. " Haidian Park has the most abundant varieties of Flower Valley. The Olympic flower exhibition is on display here, with more than 200 varieties forming more than 30 scenic spots.

Immortal Chenglu

Xianren Chenglu is located in the southwest corner of Daixi garden. Along the west garden wall, there is an earth mountain. At the top and bottom of the mountain is a pine forest. Chenglu Pavilion is built in the forest. Xianrencheng terrace is built on the side of xuanbian mountain. On the terrace stands a tray made of copper, which is used to undertake rain and dew. It is said that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty prayed to collect dew from a dew tray and take it with jade scraps in order to live forever. The terrace in the west garden is only built as a garden art sketch. Hongli has a poem "chengluxuan": "songxuan Xiaoluo has a Book feast, and the ancient trees all win the bronze casting immortals. Let's take a look at Chen Cheng ruilu, who still sees Yao's year in his urn. " Chenglu pavilion was built on the site of Chenglu Pavilion.

Poetic charm of Shuangqiao

In the southwest corner of changchunyuan, there is a Guandi temple, commonly known as Shuangqiao temple. The whole bridge is made of white jade, with Qianlong's poems engraved on it.

Danleng Qingbo

Danleng is the name of a lake in the west of Haidian town. Wanquan River and BAGOU River converge at danlinghe, then flow into xihuayuan and changchunyuan.

Wanquan sheyu

Wanquan River originates from the southwest of Wanquan village, where springs are everywhere. Thirty two clear springs, such as Wanqing blue spring, Shushi spring, Ruhua spring and Guanzhu spring, were inscribed with stone tablets. Wanquan River flows into Qinghe River through Haidian lake. Along the river, more than ten famous gardens have been built, such as Changchun Garden, Weixiu garden and Yuanmingyuan Garden.

On the source of books

During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, a West garden was built on the west side of Changchun Garden, which is now the location of Haidian Park. The main building of the west garden is the study and bedroom of Prince Yunren. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Hongli sent his greetings to the Empress Dowager in changchunyuan, where he served meals, councilors and read poems.

Traditional cultural activities

Haidian Park rice transplanting Festival and harvest festival have been successfully held for seven times since 2004.

Music theme activities

Haidian Park Music street is a music brand project created by Haidian Park. It was successfully held in 2009 and 2010. MIDI music festival has been successfully held in Haidian park lawn for four consecutive years. Modern Sky Music Festival was successfully held in Haidian Park in 2007 and 2010. The people's weekend stage was performed in Haidian Park for three consecutive years from 2009 to 2011.

Science popularization activities

Since 2009, Haidian Park has held the theme publicity activities of "bird love week" for three consecutive years. The publicity activities on the theme of "biodiversity" were successfully held in 2009 and 2010.

Large scale social activities

During the 2008 Olympic Games, more than 30 scenic spots with more than 200 flower varieties were exhibited in Huayu scenic area of Dianyuan. During the 60th anniversary of the national day, Haidian Park was identified as one of the ten key parks in Beijing during the national day of 2009, which has accomplished the tasks of reception and support.

1. North Fourth Ring Road, Wanquanhe bridge, the exit of the summer palace. After getting off the bridge, take the auxiliary road to Xiyuan bridge and turn south for 300 meters.

2. West Fourth Ring Road Wanquanhe Bridge Summer Palace exit, take Fu Road to liulangzhuang intersection, turn left and then go north 400 meters.

3. At the exit of the summer palace of Suzhou bridge on the Third Ring Road, after getting off the bridge, take the auxiliary road to Xiyuan bridge and turn south for 300 meters.
