Han Tombs in Zhongshan
Zhongshan Han tomb is located in Dingzhou City, 100 meters north of the city government. Today, there are many different opinions about it. It was once misinterpreted as "King Jing tomb" and "Murong tomb". After excavation in 1995, it was confirmed that the tomb was a Hou class tomb in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. In 2001, it was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
structure
The tomb has a history of more than 1700 years. The chamber is well preserved, 24 meters long from north to South and 10 meters wide from east to west. It is composed of front chamber, East and West ear chamber, middle chamber and back chamber. The chamber is made of rectangular brick and fan-shaped brick.
Cultural Relic
The burial objects of the Eastern Han Dynasty are displayed in the tomb, and a display room is built on the ground. In addition, there are some valuable stone inscriptions unearthed from the tomb of Liu Yan, the king of Zhongshan, such as the stone inscriptions of Han Dynasty, the wind rain bamboo stele of Guanyu and the imperial stele of Qianlong.
