Dongdatang scenic spot is located in Dongwan Town, Shawan County, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is a national 3A level scenic spot. It is located in the depth of Tianshan Mountain, at the north foot of yilianhabirga mountain, and adjacent to Shihezi in the East. It is more than 75 kilometers away from Shawan County and Shihezi city. The unique Tianshan grassland scenery, simple Kazakh herdsmen, ancient nomadic life, rich grassland culture and long-standing western region culture are the main features here.
Introduction
Dongdatang scenic spot is the remnant of Tianshan Mountains. Here, the roads are winding, the mountains are steep, the valleys are crisscross, the peaks are beautiful, the trees are towering, the springs are green, the flowers are fragrant and the birds are singing. In summer, it is not only a summer pasture with rich water and grass, strong horses and fat sheep, but also a summer resort. It's hot and midsummer outside the mountain, but it's cool here. It's like early autumn. On the third day, there will be a drizzle, which makes the mountains green and the wild flowers fragrant. The Kazakh ethnic customs are rich here, which is a good place for people to spend their leisure time.
Dongdatang has a history of relatively developed Buddhist culture. In recent years, with this advantage, the scenic spot has actively carried out Buddhist cultural tourism, and carved a giant Buddha on the cliff, which has become an important cultural landscape to attract tourists.

Dongdatang scenic spot is located in the depth of Tianshan Mountain, Yilian haberga mountain, North Zui, East Shihezi, scenic spot is more than 70 kilometers away from Shihezi city and Shawan County, East and "Mongolian Temple" tourist area across the mountain. In 2005, it was rated as a national tourist attraction.
Dongdatang scenic area is divided into East, South and West, which is composed of three different scenic spots. It is a comprehensive scenic area that can meet a variety of tourism needs.
In the south of the scenic spot is the famous Baili glacier, commonly known as "xuelaoba". Here, the mountains stretch, the peak is covered with snow, and the cold light is shining. There is a river in the mountain, and the clear flow is gurgling.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides in the East and Chongshan on two sides in the southeast, the scenic spot is full of spruce and green. Along the rugged path in the dense pine forest in the south, you can reach the top of the mountain. At the top, there is a rolling green grassland with scattered clouds and pines. There is a hundred meter waterfall flying down from the top of the cliff to the deep pool at the bottom of the ditch. There are spray, white fog and thunder. There are abrupt rocks under the forest, turbulent water and jade splashing. At the source of the waterfall on the top of the mountain, there is a cool breeze and a panoramic view at the foot.
Among the low mountains and hills, willows, birches, poplars and pines mingle with wildflowers to form a special hilly grassland. Driving up from the bottom of the ditch, you can enter the large natural temperate botanical garden in the mountains, including the autonomous regional natural wildlife reserve, where there are 17 kinds of second class protected animals, such as red deer, gazelle, argali, brown bear, etc. When visitors come here, they all feel strange and wild. When you cross the mountain, you suddenly see a bright future: continuous peaks and lush trees; on the vast Front Mountain, hilly and plain, horses gallop, cattle and camel pace and feel at ease.
The scenic spot has complete reception facilities, luxury layout of Kazakh yurt, excellent catering and accommodation conditions, and can provide services for more than 600 people at the same time.
Mongolian temple, commonly known as "tartar Temple", is located in the high mountain area in the south of Shawan County. It is 87 kilometers north from the county seat and 1918 meters above sea level.
The Mongolian temple is called "foyetang" by the Mongolian people. According to historical records, it belonged to the territory of the Mongolian weilat tribe in the Ming Dynasty. According to folklore and the zoylai county annals map, the Mongolian temple was built in the late Ming Dynasty. Because of its lush spruce, beautiful water and grass, it is a superior natural pasture. It is regarded as a "blessed land" by the herdsmen of the Mongolian weilat tribe, and thus becomes a place for Mongolian herdsmen to gather, worship, pray for God and pray for blessings.
At present, the temple buildings have long disappeared, only the original house foot wall root is still there, which is the only monument sign of the Mongolian temple.
