2823 War History Museum

·It was built in 1988 to commemorate the artillery victory in 1947, turn the history of Kinmen and change the tense situation between the two sides of the Strait.

·587 names of officers and soldiers who died in the battle are engraved on the outer wall of the main entrance. The main fighters of that year are displayed on the left, and amphibious landing vehicles are parked on the right.

·Twelve exhibition areas are set up in the museum for the most complete records in the form of charts, photos, documents, relics and models.

·In addition to the Museum of the history of the 823 war, there are also monuments of the 823 artillery battle in Queshan and xiaojinmen.

2823 War History Museum

Located in Zhongzheng Park, the 823 War Museum was built in 1988. On the outer wall of the main entrance of the war history museum are engraved the names of 587 officers and soldiers who died during the campaign. Fighter planes and main guns are displayed on the left side, and amphibious landing vehicles (LVT) are parked on the right side, which is reminiscent of the grand scene of the joint operation of the three armed forces. There are 12 historical materials about the campaign in the museum, which are displayed in the form of charts, photos, documents, relics, models, etc. to make the most complete record of the beginning and end of the 823 artillery battle, so as to remember the heroic deeds of the campaign in that year.

In addition to the war history museum, there are monuments to the victory of the 823 artillery battle in Queshan and xiaojinmen, respectively.

Opposite the war history museum is the memorial hall of Mr. Yu Dawei. The museum displays his relics, photos and medals presented by various countries.
