Jinxian'an is a district level cultural security unit, located at the foot of the balcony of beianhe Township, Haidian District, about 4 kilometers away from beianhe village.

Jinxian temple, also known as Jinshan Temple, was built at an unknown time. It is said that it is Jinshui courtyard of Xishan eight courtyards of Jin Zhangzong. It was rebuilt in Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty. In 1513, eunuch Gu Dayong invested in the expansion. In the Qing Dynasty, the nunnery was changed into a temple. In the 1920s, the third agricultural experimental farm of the University of China and France was built here, and the Gongsun forest in front of the temple was planted at that time. During the Anti Japanese War, the temple was burned by the Japanese army. At the beginning of liberation, some houses were rebuilt on the original site.

Jinxian'an sits in the West and faces the East. There are three halls, which are divided into front and back courtyards. The front courtyard has a mountain gate and a front hall for Maitreya and Sakyamuni respectively. On both sides of the north and south, there are auxiliary halls and rooms. In the backyard, there are main hall (Yuqing Hall) and auxiliary halls. The former two sides of the front courtyard have cross courtyard, now only remains the site. There are dozens of Shanmen hall, main hall and North-South rooms, and the pattern is basically complete.

There are Jinshan spring and ginkgo forest in front of the temple, which has become the main landscape of Yangtai mountain scenic spot.

In 1999, it was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Haidian District.
