The construction of China clay figurine Museum started at the former site of Wuxi Huishan clay figurine factory, which is located in Huishan ancient town, Wuxi. The architectural design selected the plan of Kengo Kuma, a Japanese architect. The new Museum covers an area of 11163 square meters and a building area of 10321 square meters. Development history

More than 1000 exhibits have been collected by China clay figurine Museum. With the construction of the museum, the collection, sorting, classification and display of the exhibits have been carried out one after another. China clay figurine Museum covers an area of 11163 square meters, with a building area of 10322 square meters. It is designed by Kengo Kuma, a world-famous architectural designer. It combines Huishan local elements in the architectural theme, and has the characteristics of simplicity, elegance and integration of ancient town style. It fully demonstrates the development trend of museums today.

The main body of the museum has three floors up and down, two floors above the ground and one floor underground. The overall architectural style of the museum is covered with green tiles, with a large inclined roof. The aerial view is like a horizontal U-shaped character. The appearance is integrated with the ancient town style which is rich in classical architectural aesthetics. The roof is paved with butterfly tiles, which reflects the characteristics of powder wall and Dai wa in Wuxi Jiangnan Water Town.
