Wenshan hot spring was discovered in 1914 by the Japanese officer, major sou Shui, so it was originally named as deep water hot spring. Wenshan hot spring is often silted up by the sediment brought by dashaxi after heavy rain. Until 2001, the Management Office of Taroko National Park renovated Wenshan hot spring and added many safety facilities to facilitate the use of tourists. It was adopted and maintained by Tianxiang Jinghua hotel.
Wenshan hot spring
Wenshan hot spring is located in Fushi village, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, Taiwan, near Tianxiang sightseeing area. According to geological classification, the hot spring belongs to metamorphic rock hot spring in danan'ao schist area of central mountains, and is the only Yexi hot spring in Taroko National Park.
Spring Quality
The water quality of Wenshan hot spring is clear with sulfur smell, and there is sulfur deposition at Yongquan. The water temperature is about 43 ℃, and the pH value is about 6.5. Sulfate ion is about 482ppm, carbonate ion is about 82ppm, sodium ion is about 97.2ppm, calcium ion is about 142ppm, which belongs to neutral sulfate spring.
