Weiwen Academy
Weiwen academy is located at No.79 Wendong Road, Wencheng Town, Wenchang City, Hainan Province. In the ninth year of Yongzheng reign (1731 AD), Liang Ji'an, the magistrate of the Qing Dynasty, combined the academy and Yixue and named them "Zhigong academy".
In the ninth year of Jiaqing (1804 A.D.), it was moved to the site of Xuegong (today's site) and changed to Weiwen Academy. It covers an area of 1650 square meters. Most of them are easier to use. They are divided into three parts: lecture hall, back hall and veranda. Behind the lecture hall is the back hall. There are two corridors on the left and right wings of the back hall. Now the lecture hall retains the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty. It has a hard top with a beam lifting frame, with a width of 18 meters and a depth of 14.4 meters. The back hall has a hard top with a brick and wood structure, with a width of 12 meters and a depth of 7.8 meters.
