Luolong ancient village

The form of village has become the necessity of the development of modern society. But the destruction of Luolong ancient village in Wenzhou is somewhat strange. This beautiful village is known as a paradise in the eyes of donkey friends in the Yangtze River Delta.

The village is located at the source of Nanxi River. The two sides of the river are clear and magnificent, reflecting with the river. The water is clear and the fish are broken. It may be remote and poor here, but the spotless beauty of nature and the unity of nature and man can purify people's mind more than the book of songs. The Three River headwaters line the great Nanxi River, the small Nanxi River and the West Nanxi River, passing the Baizhang waterfall with a drop of nearly 200 meters, the charming Baizhang pit like the emerald of taiyangyan, and many nameless waterfalls.

Outdoor tourists like to compare Luolong village to a paradise in the world. Because it is hidden in the mountains, they can only go to the township government where it is located by bus. After that, it cost 100 yuan to pack a farm truck to go to the Ma'anshan village halfway up the mountain. It's a very difficult road to drive. The road is made of huge stones. Except for jeeps, other self driving vehicles can't get on the road at all. Even in a farm truck, people are often bumped up and hit the roof. After driving to Ma'anshan village, you can only go to Luolong village on foot. After climbing for nearly three hours on the Yangchang path that firewood choppers came out of, you can see the village between the two hills and the stream flowing with mountains and waters. You really have the illusion of stepping into the Peach Blossom Land.

However, in the past six years, 76 people have died in this remote mountain village, and nearly half of them have died suddenly. In the summer of 2008, there were two fires in the village, which destroyed 91 old houses. The villagers began to panic, and the name "ghost village" spread like wildfire.

”The origin of "ghost village"

Since 2000, there have been some strange deaths in the village. There was no obvious disease before the death. The death came suddenly and quickly. From attack to breath, it took half an hour and a few minutes. This ancient village, which once had more than 500 permanent residents, had at least 100 villagers living here before the strange death rate increased in 2003, but since 2003, the death toll in the village has been nearly half of the former permanent residents. In 2004, 18 people died in the village, far higher than the normal mortality rate of 7% - 8%.

With the unexplained death occupying the village for a long time, the villagers began to flee to live outside the mountain, so that in September 2010, only six or seven old people left behind in the village. Since 2004, the local health department has visited the village several times to investigate the causes of strange deaths. Mo Shihua, the chief epidemiologist of Zhejiang Province, after collecting all the local food and stone samples, came to the conclusion: lack of medicine, chronic fatigue.

When the villagers were dubious of this conclusion, an unnamed fire destroyed 25 ancient houses in the village. After the investigation, the police denied the arson factor and believed that the aging of the electric wire caused the house fire. The villagers accepted the result of the investigation, but they were afraid in their hearts. "Strange, it's on fire. I can't tell you about it." Villagers told the media after the disaster.

Panic is intensifying, but the second fire came again. A month later, 60 ancient houses were destroyed overnight. Only this time, Luolong village seems to have been blessed by misfortune. Although it was burned beyond recognition, it burned the "ghost" hidden in the "ghost village" for a long time.

"Now I think of it, I'm afraid." Ma Jianwen, the head of the village, raised money everywhere, hoping to build a road for Luolong village and keep the village left by Ma's ancestors. "Now the villagers don't believe the ghosts and gods, and when the road is opened, the village may be prosperous again.".
