Shangbao mountain

As an important part of the Yandangshan caldera belt, in the Cretaceous period from 128 million to 108 million years ago, Shangbao mountain, like the nearby Yandangshan mountain, experienced the process of volcanic eruption, collapse and uplift. The remaining Baizhang rock and oarzhuang rock are the isolated peaks formed by the weathering and collapse of volcanic tuff. What's more amazing is that on its hillside, there is another natural landscape - Danxia landform. The red gravel rock is cut and eroded by the flowing water. After the collapse of the hillside, the landform forms such as stone walls, stone peaks and stone pillars with flat top, steep body and gentle foot are formed, "the color is like Dan, and the color is like bright Xia".
