Laojun Temple
Laojun temple, Taoist temple. It is on the third peak of xixiuling mountain in the south of Lintong County, Shaanxi Province. It used to be the location of Changsheng Hall of Huaqing Palace in Tang Dynasty. It is said that Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty met the emperor twice here, so it is called "Jiangsheng Pavilion" and "Chaoyuan Pavilion".
The white jade statue of Laojun in the hall in the past is exquisite in shape, succinct in knife technique, lifelike and lifelike in expression. It is the work of yuanxiong Jia, a famous sculptor in the western regions of Tang Dynasty. It is now collected in Shaanxi Provincial Museum. The statue of Laojun in the hall is made in modern times. Inside the hall, the windows are bright and clean, the environment is quiet, and the scenery outside the hall is beautiful and charming. It is a key Taoist temple in Shaanxi Province.
