Zhilin ancient road

Zhilin ancient road is located in Dayin Zhilin village, Yuyao, at the northern foot of Siming Mountain. Some sections of the ancient road are paved with stones, while others are formed by natural exposed large rocks in the mountains. After years of rain and long-term erosion, stones and rocks become smooth and round.

There used to be a Baiyan temple on the ancient road, which was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. It was burned down in the 1930s. Now the temple is newly built.

Zhilin ancient road is located in Dayin Zhilin village, Yuyao, at the north foot of Siming Mountain in Ningbo. It has continuous mountains, winding mountains, lush bamboo and trees, and crisscross streams. The essence of Chi Lin ancient road lies in the Bai Yan stream, which is about 5 kilometers long. The stream is broad and the bottom of the river is flat. The stream is clear and perennial. Entering the white rock brook, it seems to enter the fairyland of the world. It can not only appreciate the natural beauty of the mountains and rivers, but also have the boundless interest of people in the middle of the painting.

Scenery

The essence of Chi Lin ancient road lies in the white rock brook, like a fairyland in the world. As soon as you enter Zhilin, you can see the clear water in this pool. One third of the whole ancient road is made up of bamboo forests like this. Baiyan river is shallow in water and the water flow is relatively gentle.

As a matter of fact, Zhilin has been transformed into a scenic spot by the Yuyao government. If you think that walking the stream road is too tortuous, you can take the footpath of the scenic spot instead. Some sections of the road, which have not been developed in the scenic area, can be called the so-called "secret land". The road has to be explored step by step. The more you go in, the more you feel like a paradise.

Traffic information

At the south station, take the bus to Dayin and walk 2 kilometers to Zhilin village. Or take bus no.615 or 631 to get off Zhu Min, walk around the ring road or take a minibus to Zhilin to start hiking.
