Jifen Bridge

Jifen bridge is a special pedestrian bridge at the south end of the main urban area of Taiyuan City, and also the first large-span landscape pedestrian bridge in the provincial capital. It starts from Xuefu street in the East, crosses the Fenhe River, and connects with the cultural island of Changfeng cultural business district in the West.

Jifen bridge is a special pedestrian bridge at the south end of the main urban area of Taiyuan city planning, and also the first large-span landscape pedestrian bridge in the provincial capital.

Jifen bridge starts from Xuefu street in the East, crosses Fenhe River in the West and connects with cultural island of Changfeng cultural business district in the West. The whole bridge is of steel structure, with a total length of 1.1km and a single deck width of 6m. Its shape is two ties, double arc cross bridge deck and continuous changing connecting rod, forming a spatial structure of DNA molecules, which contains the meaning of old and new inheritance, and is known as the "cradle" on the Fenhe River. It is because it is a dedicated pedestrian bridge and the first large-span landscape pedestrian bridge in the provincial capital, so it is called Jifen bridge. Ascend: ascend, ascend meaning. To enter Fenhe is to climb the Fenhe River, which means "the peach bank and willows are near, the waves are vast, the glass is blue, and the mirror is flat".
