National Yangming University

National Yangming University, formerly known as national Yangming Medical College, was founded in 1975. The mission of the school is to uphold the school motto of "true knowledge, practice, benevolence" spirit, to cultivate excellent doctors with deep love to serve in the countryside, so as to solve the medical problems in remote areas.

Yangming medical college graduated from the first medical department in 1982 and was distributed by the government to various public health and medical institutions. Since then, Yangming graduates have gone deep into every corner of Taiwan and become the top grass-roots medical soldiers in China. They have been recognized by the society. Yangming medical college has also successfully completed its phased mission.

In order to cultivate a new generation of medical professionals and research talents in cutting-edge fields, Yangming medical college has been gradually expanded in the field of biomedicine. In 1994, it was renamed "national Yangming University", becoming the first comprehensive medical university in China. Since then, the College of medical technology and Engineering (renamed biomedical and Engineering College), the Academy of life sciences, the College of nursing and the College of dentistry have been established successively. In 2007, the Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences was established in fenghuai. Since the new year's day of 2008, the original Department of Ilan hospital has been transformed into an affiliated hospital of our university. Since then, Yangming has been able to implement the medical service concept he has adhered to for more than 30 years.
