Heilongtan reservoir is located in Heilongtan Town, Renshou County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, China. It is known as "the first sea in Western Sichuan". It is a large reservoir with irrigation and water supply, flood control and aquaculture functions. The upstream water is diverted from Dujiangyan through Dongfeng canal. A total of 1319 canals (divided into ganzhidou nongmao 5 levels) have been built in the whole irrigation area, with a total length of 3692.30 km, irrigating 1.21 million mu of cultivated land in Renshou, Jingyan and Jianyang.
