Maqu Grassland

Maqu grassland is also known as the first grassland. The Yellow River enters from the southwest and then leaves from the northwest on the grassland of more than 10000 square kilometers, forming the first landscape of "the first bend of the Yellow River in the world". In this beautiful first song of the Yellow River, there are many fascinating grassland landscapes, and ximeiduohetang (meaning Huatan) is one of them.

Ximeiduohetang stretches for tens of kilometers. In the middle of July every year, the whole beach is full of Trollius flowers. It's very pleasant to ride with the fragrance of flowers. In August, the Golden Lotus quietly retreats, and is replaced by the sky blue gentian. The whole flower beach is blue. The beach connects with the sky, and the world is the same color. In August every year, the Gesar horse racing meeting will be held in Maqu grassland. At that time, the grass will be everywhere, the white tent will be dotted, the herdsmen will wear national costumes, and the horses will go back and forth.
