It is an isolated mountain of karst landform that rose after three tectonic movements of the paleo ocean (the Paleo Tethys ocean, also known as the paleo Mediterranean Sea) 280 million years ago, including Indosinian (248-243 million years ago), Yanshanian (213-6.5 million years ago) and Himalayan (6.5 million years ago), covering an area of 4 square kilometers. The geological and cultural characteristics of Luofu Mountain scenic area are clear, and the geological structure well reflects the plate movement, geological changes and geological development. It is located in the northwest of Chengdu Plain, adjacent to Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, 40 km away from Mianyang and 110 li away from Chengdu. It's on the tourist ring line from Mianyang to Jiuzhaigou. With an altitude of 620-862 meters, it is a low mountain scenic spot, which is easy to climb. On the mountain, there are the ruins of "Qiang King City", an ancient battlefield where the Qiang people fought against the Ming Dynasty, and 81 natural landscapes such as caves, stones, rocks, springs, platforms and customs. Ticket price: adult 40 yuan / person, child 20 yuan / person;

Free ticket policy: with military disability certificate, the elderly above 70 years old, active servicemen, disability certificate, children below 1.2 meters free.

1. There are many stone steps in Luofu Mountain. Some places are quite steep. Pay attention to safety when climbing. 2. Pay attention to sun protection and prepare commonly used drugs when traveling in summer. 3. Many people go to the hot springs in Luofu Mountain, but they should avoid soaking in hot springs on an empty stomach, after dinner or after drinking. The interval between soaking in hot springs and eating should be at least one hour.
